Bible Quiz (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a Bible trivia app. This policy explains what personal information the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and how you can remove it.
It applies only to the Bible Quiz mobile app. It does not cover any other website or app, including third-party sites reached through links in the app.

We do not collect your location, contacts, calendar, health data, or payment details. We do not sell your personal information.
To play, you create an account. Depending on how you sign in, we receive:
You may set a display name and either pick a built-in avatar or upload a photo. Uploaded photos are stored on our own server at eaglebzl.cloud, one image per account, and are served from a public link so they can appear next to your name in the app.
If you post in a quiz discussion, we store the text, your display name, your avatar, and the time you posted. Comments are public to other users of the app.
We store your points, points history, number of quizzes played, questions answered, correct and incorrect counts, bookmarked questions, saved items, and which quizzes you have completed.
Some settings — such as your theme and sound preferences — are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.
Please read this section carefully. The app has a public leaderboard and public quiz discussions. Your display name, avatar or profile photo, points, ranking and quiz statistics are visible to other users of the app. Any comment you post is visible to other users along with your name and avatar.
Your email address is never shown to other users. If you would rather not be identifiable, use a nickname as your display name and a built-in avatar rather than a photo of yourself.
The app is free and is funded by advertising through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) to select and measure ads.
Google’s handling of this data is governed by its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age, and children under that age should not create an account.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has created an account, contact us at the address in §14 and we will delete the account and its data.
We use the following providers. Each processes data under its own privacy policy:

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than the providers listed above, except where we are legally required to do so.
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists.
Open Profile → Security → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account, profile, points, statistics and points history. This cannot be undone.
You can also email us at the address in §14 from your account’s email address and we will delete the account within 30 days.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise most of these directly in the app, or by contacting us.
If you are in the EEA or UK, our lawful bases are: performance of a contract (running your account), legitimate interests (keeping the app working and secure), and consent (notifications and personalised advertising). You have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have the rights described in the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information.
Traffic between the app and our services is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to the stored data is restricted by server-side security rules, so a signed-in user can only modify their own profile. Passwords are managed by Firebase Authentication and are never stored by us.
No system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong, unique password and do not share your account.
Our providers, including Google, operate globally, so your information may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, those transfers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
We may update this policy as the app changes. The “Last updated” date at the top always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will give notice in the app before it takes effect.
